The Tripp Lite Environmental Sensor (model E2) is designed for precise monitoring of ambient temperature and humidity in data centers, telecom closets, and server racks. It supports up to three E2 modules daisy-chained together via USB, allowing expanded environmental monitoring coverage. The sensor attaches magnetically to most racks and cabinets for convenient installation. It monitors dry contact open/closed connectors to track alarm, security, and telecom device statuses. The built-in cable harness helps reduce clutter for cleaner installations. Fully compatible with Tripp Lite’s free PowerAlert software, it integrates smoothly with compatible devices such as WEBCARDLX, WEBCARDLXS, and select PDU models.
